Triangle Home & Deck is the region's premier choice for wood restoration, repair, and maintenance. We specialize in restoring the natural beauty of wood and preserving it for years to come. Unprotected and neglected wood can be a major eyesore and a liability that significantly devalues your property. We exist to offer reliable and affordable solutions to homeowners who want to preserve the beauty and usefulness of their exterior wood.
Cleaning, Staining, and Restoration
Our process starts with an in-person consultation to determine the best option for you. We analyze the quality of your wood and take extensive measurements to give an accurate estimate.
One of the best ways to preserve wood is to have it professionally cleaned on a regular basis. We do much more than simply pressure wash - in fact, pressure washing alone will not do much to preserve wood. We will clean your exterior wood with a combination of contractor grade chemicals and low pressure, which will protect the wood while removing the mold, dirt, and gray wood fibers. After this, we apply a special wood brightening chemical to restore the natural color and open up the pores in the wood to accept a stain/sealer. It is important to understand that the final condition of any wood surface is significantly determined by how well it was prepared through cleaning. The number one reason most exterior wood does not look good and deteriorates quickly is that homeowners are unaware and many contractors are ignorant of the proper methods to clean wood surfaces. After cleaning, it is almost always a good idea to have your exterior wood stained and sealed.
Staining and Sealing:
Our goal is to preserve the beauty and usefulness of your wood. We use a wood preservation product that is much better than the average stain or sealer, and we almost always hand brush the product on the wood to achieve the optimal coating. Our product penetrates the wood, giving it protection from water, UV rays, and other natural elements. The concept is simple: wood that is protected lasts longer.
Does your deck, gazebo, or pergola look like it's on its last leg? Even a wood structure neglected for a decade or more can be restored to good condition at a fraction of the cost of a new one. Check out our deck staining page to see our restoration process.
BEFORE: Fence Staining
Above is an example of a fence we recently stained and sealed. Like any wood surface, fences last longer and look better when they are properly stained and sealed. Without cleaning and staining, a fence will turn gray and deteriorate quickly. We service all sizes and types of fences.
